Schools in the capital will close at 11am on Wednesday because of Qasr Al Hosn Festival preparations.
The Abu Dhabi Education Council informed schools about the early dismissal due to the various activities and programmes that will require the closure of some roads around the area from 1.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday. The annual festival will run until February 21.
Parents of children who travel by school bus will be informed of the early departure and the estimated time of arrival to their homes, Raha International School said in a message to parents on Tuesday.
