Abattoirs under the jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi Municipality are fully prepared for a surge of Eid Al Adha business, the state news agency Wam reported.

The number of animals for slaughter will increase significantly during the holiday. It will cost Dh15 to slaughter sheep or goats, Dh40 for calves and young camels and Dh60 for cows and camels.

The public can visit abattoirs at Bani Yas and Al Shahama, which are respectively expected to slaughter 6,000 and 1,500 animals over Eid. The Mina slaughterhouse is reserved for the Red Crescent Authority.
