Organisers of the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival have announced six new competitions at the annual event that celebrates Emirati culture.
The categories are best heritage photography, best heritage press coverage, best supporting hotel for the festival, best supporting tour operator for the festival, and two awards for best research papers on Emirati heritage.
Humaid Al Neyadi, vice chairman of the higher organising committee of the festival, said: “We seek to strengthen ways of communicating with the various parties that contribute to the quality of this edition, supporting all efforts to expand the circle of interaction in this exceptional festival.”
The event will kick off in Al Wathba from November 20, and will conclude on December 12.
