DUBAI // A goal to link up all smart government services with a single log on ID took a step closer with a deal announced yesterday.

Dubai Municipality said it would also adopt the MyID service, which aims to unify access to all mobile government services from traffic fine payment, to land registry databases, with a single logon ID.

Ahmad Bin Humaidan, director general of Dubai Smart Government, said the goal was “to give the public smooth access to their services round the clock wherever they are, thereby contributing effectively to Dubai becoming the world’s smartest city”.
