As the cars took to the track for the second day of this weekend's Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, was in attendance.
He met ex-Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone as well as a number of race fans and businessmen.
This year’s championship has already been won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, but that has not stopped F1 fever from descending on the region.
Organisers revealed that grandstand tickets for the 10th Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix sold out in record time this year.
