Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has asked for recruitment centres to be opened on Dalma Island and Al Sila’a to allow Emiratis to register for national service.
The move comes as part of Sheikha Fatima’s support of the National and Reserve Service Law, the state news agency Wam reported.
