Sheikh Mohammed attends Dubai Endurance Cup - in pictures

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, attended the160-kilometre race of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup on Saturday at Dubai International Endurance City.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, won the three-star race.

Sheikh Rashid bin Dalmouk was runner-up, followed in the third place by Ali Khalfan Al Jahouri, according to the state news agency Wam.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, were also in attendence.

Dubai’s Government-owned developer Meydan Group had boosted the prize money for the race to almost $2.6 million and announced a series of European races to promote endurance riding, it said on Thursday.
