Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, held talks with the leader of Turkmenistan yesterday during a state visit to the central Asian nation.
Sheikh Khalifa discussed relations between the two countries with his counterpart, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who last week spent two days touring the Emirates.
The leaders discussed strengthening ties between their governments and signed a series of deals, the official UAE news agency WAM reported. No details were provided as to the nature of the agreements.
"The two presidents discussed ways of enhancing these relations in light of the good results produced by the recent visit by Berdimuhamedov to the UAE," WAM reported.
