ABU DHABI // Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and chairman of Emirates Red Crescent Authority, has adopted a Palestinian child who was injured in an Israeli air raid in Gaza.

Dr Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, secretary general of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, told state news agency WAM that Sheikh Hamdan had adopted Suhaib Raid, whose whole family, except his mother, were killed in the attack on his home.
