Sharjah to have new petrol station

Sharjah plans to build a petrol station in Al Hamriyah, with proceeds going to the emirate's Cooperative Society for Fishermen.

The Sharjah Ruler, Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, gave the directive in response to complaints from Emirati fishermen about the lack of a petrol station in the area, according to Wam, the state news agency.

Yesterday, Sheikh Sultan ordered the allocation of land to build the petrol station, which will serve fishermen and regular road users.
