Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, Ruler of Sharjah, has offered a plot of land to build the Islamic Virtual University (IVU) at his expense at University City.
The IVU project seeks to expand cooperation on education, science and culture between the universities of the Islamic world.
