Sharjah motorists cautioned against skipping lights

Sharjah Police have launched an awareness campaign on the dangers of ignoring traffic signals.

SHARJAH // A campaign to discourage drivers from skipping red lights has been launched by the traffic and patrols department at Sharjah Police.

As part of the campaign, police will distribute booklets and pamphlets in Arabic and English to highlight the dangers of ignoring traffic signals.

The "Beware of Crossing Red Lights" initiative is part of a wider accident-free summer campaign.

Police noted that the campaign would continue throughout the year.
