The first hearing in the case of a University of Sharjah pupil allegedly beaten to death by friends last year, has been adjourned by a Sharjah court.
The lawyer representing the family of the victim, 19-year-old Kuwaiti Mubarak Meshaal Al Mubarak, said more evidence was required.
Mubarak died hospital after sustaining fractures and an internal haemorrhage in March last year.
A police forensic report earlier said signs of beatings and burn marks had been found on the victim's body.
