A man has been charged with sexual assault after exposing himself to a woman in a public bathroom.
The Egyptian suspect chased his victim into a lift and down some stairs before forcefully kissing her on the lips.
“He followed me there and touched me," said the Ukrainian employee, 28. "I screamed and threatened to call the police.
“I bit his hand so he let go of me. Then I ran.”
Following the assault the victim called police and reported the incident.
The suspect was identified through CCTV footage and arrested by officers 10 days later.
“He said the two of them met near the restrooms and he accidentally touched her,” a policeman told the court.
“Then he tried to kiss her but she turned him down after which he left.”
The defendant denies a charge of sexual assault and a verdict in the case is expected on December 27.
