A service centre has been opened by Dubai Courts at Al Barsha Mall. The Personal Status Services Department will help cope with growing demand of obtaining certification for legal documents.
There were 18,597 transactions in Dubai Courts last year, of which 6,733 were for proof of marital status.
The services in Al Barsha Mall will include declaration of Islam, proof of accommodation for minors, kinship and custody, proof of marriage in court, proof of dowry waiver, special power of attorney, legal change of name and determination of heirs.
