Ten thousand Ramadan packages containing 20 kilograms of food rations are being prepared for distribution in Egypt by Al Maktoum Foundation.
The aid is the second phase of a project to assist underprivileged families in the country, and is backed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance.
The campaign will oversee the distribution of food parcels in areas such as Cairo, Beheira, Qina and Giza, with more than 300 parcels distributed in the current phase.
