Ras Al Khaimah Police have arrested several Asian men who were in possession of Dh11 million worth of counterfeit goods.

Colonel Abdullah Ali Munkhas, head of CID at RAK Police, said officers were tipped off that a residential villa in the emirate was being used as a base to copy trademark goods of an international company. A CID task force raided the villa and arrested the suspects.

They confessed to the charges, saying they rented the villa to carry out the packaging for counterfeit items before selling them across the emirates. Fake goods were seized and the case was referred to authorities to complete legal proceedings.
