Prosecutors issue arrest warrant for threat to UAE security

The group of people are accused of having links with foreign organisations.

Federal prosecutors have issued orders to arrest a group of people who have threatened state security, according to state news agency Wam.

The prosecutor general, Salim Saeed Al Kubaish, has ordered the arrest and interrogation of an unspecified number of people who are running an organisation "which aims to commit crimes against the security and constitution of the country and the basic principles of rule, and who also have connections with foreign organizations and agendas."

Investigations are underway to "expose the conspiracy of this organisation and its members in full," he said.
