RAS AL KHAIMAH // The director of traffic and patrols department at RAK Police Colonel Ali Saeed Al Alekum, honoured citizen Salem Ali Laha in recognition of his constant cooperation with officers from the department during heavy rainfall in recent days.
Mr Laha assisted police officers in rescuing motorists and cars stuck in valleys and in waterways. He would also report accidents and incidents to the department and assist in immediate or urgent aid.
Colonel Al Alekum explained that the honor followed the implementation of the Interior Ministry’s initiative that focusses on the promotion and encouragement of shared social responsibility within the community.
