It’s a nice day for a high wedding. At least according to the Burj Al Arab, one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, which is offering couples the chance to marry on its helipad – 212 metres above the Arabian Gulf.
With prices starting at Dh200,000, the wedding-in-the-sky experience will buy couples a “wedding architect”, available at all hours to help design the perfect day. Couples also have the choice of arriving at the hotel, on the big day, in a Rolls-Royce Phantom or by helicopter.
“We’re always looking for new and special ways to delight and enchant our guests,” said Heinrich Morio, Burj Al Arab’s general manager. “We believe a once-in-a-lifetime event deserves a one-of-a-kind venue and are thrilled to add this special location to our ultimate experience collection.”
Other perks include accommodation, a private tasting session with the hotel’s award-winning executive chef, personal training sessions and a specially-created wedding scent.
