DUBAI // A pharmacist was molested by a customer who hugged her against her will, Dubai Criminal Court has heard.
On August 13 this year the Indian woman was at work when a customer, also Indian, came into the pharmacy, pulled the woman to him and hugged her.
The pharmacist, 24, told the court she did not know the man and had not seen him before.
The man, 36, told police he had pulled her by the waist and hugged her as a joke. In court, he denied a charge of sexual assault.
The next hearing is scheduled for October 24.
