ABU DHABI // An Arab national was killed and seven Asian nationals sustained minor injuries on Sunday morning after a workers bus and a lorry collided on the Abu Dhabi to Al Sila Road.
Fog was blamed for the crash and investigations are continuing to determine the exact causes of the accident.
Lt Col Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, deputy head of the capital’s Traffic Department at the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, urged motorists, especially lorry drivers, to abide by the police instructions in foggy weather.
Lt Col Al Zeyoudi urged drivers to slow down during fog and low visibility, avoid tailgating and keep informed of the weather conditions.
