Mohammed inspects housing project

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice-President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today inspected a new housing scheme for young UAE nationals at Aud Matina. After touring the housing project, on which there are rabout 1000 villas, Sheikh Mohammed said, "I'm looking forward to the day when I see every citizen in our beloved country stable with his family in a decent house. This is what we are aspiring for and I hope it will be realised under the care and support of my brother President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan." Sheikh Mohammed urged the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment to speed up the construction of the houses in order to meet the high demands for the housing. The villas in Aud Matina have three or five bedrooms. Other facilities in the area include basic services such as a post office, health centre, gardens, children's play ground, school, communication centre and commercial shops. *WAM
