Mobile users in the Emirates have been greeted with a “Happy UAE” message on Friday.
Both network carriers - Etisalat and du - changed their names.
The UAE, recently named the happiest country in the Arab World, announced it will be celebrating happiness over five days in the lead up to International Happiness Day on March 20
The UAE’s Happiness Journey kicked off with a Happiness Carnival on Thursday at City Walk Dubai, aiming to instill happiness as way of life and promote positive thinking.

The Happiness Journey runs 4pm to 10pm daily starting Friday through to Tuesday March 20 at the Dubai Design District (d3).
The Block, a brand new recreational space, and will focus on happiness and wellbeing themes including Mind Wellbeing, Physical Wellbeing, Emotional Wellbeing, Gastronomy and Art, highlighting their importance in attaining happiness.
The Happiness Journey includes a series of unique cognitive experiences, events, diverse sessions and inspirational open dialogues with the participation of local, regional and international speakers, and happiness and wellbeing experts.
