SHARJAH // Two young Emirati men have been arrested after crossing the border from Oman with about 2,000 banned pills in their possession.
Dibba Al Hosn Police's anti-narcotics department received information from confidential sources that the men were coming from the Omani city of Dibba Al Bayaa through the border point with Dibba Al Hosn in Sharjah carrying 2,000 tablets, among them Tramadol pills, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National. .
They were arrested for possession and trafficking. A report will be sent to prosecutors.
