Man cleared of kidnapping baby

Prosecutors said man had threatened to throw child from a window.

A man who said police coerced him into admitting the kidnap of a five-day-old baby was acquitted of the charge yesterday.

Prosecutors accused SS, a 35-year-old Indian, of taking the child from her mother and threatening to throw her from a window while being under the influence of alcohol.
