Children in California have the chance to be a mascot for Manchester City when the team sponsored by Etihad take on David Beckham's LA Galaxy in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.
About 300 hopefuls will try to shoot the ball into a hole in an Abu Dhabi-themed backdrop at Long Beach tomorrow.
Those who are successful will take penalties against the Manchester City goalkeeper until only the winner is left.
The event is being sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA). As well as having the honour of being the club mascot, the winner will also receive four VIP hospitality passes for the match and a full club kit.
"With the huge strides the club has made in recent seasons, these are exciting times for Manchester City, as they are for Abu Dhabi," said Dayne Lim, the product development director at ADTA.
"As part of our strategy to increase inbound custom from North America, we have just appointed our first, on-the-ground personnel in the States, while details of our American office will be released in coming months."
The FA Cup winners have made a good start to their tour of North America.
They beat the Mexican team Club America in San Francisco last Saturday and were victorious against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Tuesday.
