SHARJAH // A man was arrested on Saturday in connection with a death by stabbing.
A group of men were involved in a fight with the victim when an Asian man stabbed him to death before fleeing the scene, police said.
Police said they found the victim’s body laying in a pool of blood before transferring it to a forensic lab.
The suspect was identified and tracked to Umm Al Quwain where local police arrested him and handed him over to authorities in Sharjah.
The man admitted to stabbing the victim to death during questioning, police said.
He was referred to Sharjah prosecution to face trial.
