The Khalifa Foundation has distributed aid to 32,000 poor families on the outskirts of Lilongwe, Malawi’s capital.
The initiative is part of an emergency food and medical aid project to help 650,000 people affected by the floods that recently swept the African country, state news agency Wam reported.
It is under the directives of Sheikh Khalifa, the President, and the oversight of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
