DUBAI// Delighted beachgoers were treated to a very special fast food delivery when KFC dropped thousands of sandwiches by helicopter.
A short 1 minute 2 second video of the stunt has been posted on YouTube and is quickly gathering views.
The video describes it as a “world’s first.” It begins inside the cockpit of the helicopter as the pilots take-off.
The scene switches to people enjoying a day out at the Kite Beach in Dubai as the helicopter approaches carrying a giant KFC bucket.
Bemused people watch the helicopter land and the bucket is opened and according to the video, 3,000 sandwiches are delivered.
Teams of promotional staff carrying black bags then distribute the sandwiches to members of the public who tuck in.
The video ends with a message urging people to “wait for our next delivery.”
The video was uploaded on April 24 and has so far garnered 2,135 views.
