TEHRAN // Iran's top nuclear negotiator says Iran plans complain to the United Nations about U.S. "terror" operations, including killing its nuclear scientists.

Saeed Jalili addressed a rally marking the anniversary of the seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979. The takeover ended more than a year later.

He said Iran's U.N. ambassador will present "documents of U.S. terror plots against Iran" to the U.N. on Friday.

Several Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed in recent years. Iran has blamed the U.S. and Israel.

Iran is already embroiled in a spat with the U.S. over an alleged plot to kill the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Washington. Iran has dismissed charges of involvement as "absurd."

The U.S. and other nations are also stepping up their campaign against Iran's nuclear program.
