India follows the UAE’s lead

Devendra Fadnavis, chief minister of India’s Maharashtra state, has said that India was learning how to become a corruption-free society, particularly for investors, from the UAE.

"We realise corruption is a major challenge. Hence, like the UAE, we are gradually taking all our government services online so that there is less human interaction and there is less chance to bribe anyone, " he told The National at Dubai's Arabian Indian Czars Award,
