People can do their part for the environment in Dubai by dropping e-waste off at Enviroserve’s warehouse in Dubai Investment Park or subscribing to recycling bin collection.
Recyclable products, including e-waste, are collected every week for Dh105 per month. For larger items, like television sets, the company can be informed in advance.
Enviroserve is located at First Gulf Properties warehouse, unit FG08, in Dubai Investment Park 1.
Companies can email Enviroserve (info@enviroserve.ae) or call 04885 2434 to speak to a business developer for corporate waste management programmes.
Averda, another Dubai-based waste management firm, has 13 recycling centres in Dubai and e-waste bins at malls as part of a programme with the Dubai Municipality.
They accept 18 kinds of recyclables, including e-waste.

In Ras Al Khaimah, people can drop off e-waste at the waste recovery facility in Qusaidat near the Lantern roundabout.
At the end of March, the RAK Waste Management Agency will open a recycling drop-off centre at Saqr Park and at the RAK Mall parking lot, which will both accept e-waste.
RAK Waste Management Agency has set up battery recycling at all supermarkets and will open collection boxes at schools in the near future. The waste is taken to Enviroserve at Dubai Investment Park.
Recyclable e-waste includes laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, CPUs, monitors, TVs, stereos, scanners, copiers, fax machines and other electronics.
