ABU DHABI // Experts have warned of the dangers of abusing vitamin D products, including capsules, pills, injections and liquids.
Mohammed Al Ghamdi, a pharmacist, said vitamin D insufficiency is a problem among all age groups in the region.
He added that foods such as fatty fish and eggs naturally contain vitamin D and people’s skin can also naturally create vitamin D through exposure to sunlight.
Mr Al Ghamdi urged patients to consult their doctors for the right dose to avoid any health risks, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
