DUBAI // Dubai Health Authority has approved the requirements for Emiratis who wish to be sponsored to continue higher education in medicine.
The programme to support those studying medicine or nursing, or to become paramedics, aims to sponsor 130 Emiratis per year.
The authority will cover the students’ educational fees, including registration fees and monthly allowances.
According to the requirements, students must meet criteria that include being healthy with a history of good conduct, and, for men, having completed National Service or being able to prove they have been relieved or postponed from that duty.
Emiratis interested in applying should not have received any scholarship from another entity.
