The Beat Diabetes Walkathon will take place on Friday at Zabeel Park in Dubai. It is the 6th year of the diabetic awareness event for the people of UAE.
The walk begins at 8am from Area A, Gate 3 and experts will be on hand to provide free glucose tests, as well as nutritional advice.
Local vendors will set up more than 50 stalls selling everything from organic and tasty food, ground coffee, art, crafts, photography and beauty products. There will also be music and fun activities for the family.
