ABU DHABI // Emergency medicine experts gathered to discuss latest developments in their field at an Abu Dhabi conference.
The conference helped to support the country’s healthcare preparedness and help medical professionals ensure they can handle emergency and crisis situations, said Dr Saleh Fares, president of the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine.
“Patient outcomes are greatly enhanced through such expert knowledge sharing and professional peer development,” Dr Fares said.
The society organised the two-day conference, which started on Tuesday, for the second year in Abu Dhabi. It was held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
