ABU DHABI // Dr Sultan Al Jaber, the Minister of State and chairman of the board of directors of the NMC, has said that the country is in a war against extremism but is ready to face the threat.
During an interview to a news channel, Dr Al Jaber, said: “The death of a constellation of our soldiers taking part in the Arab Coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope will only strengthen our determination and resolve to continue performing our moral and military duty to liberate Yemen from rebel militias.”
“We have started seeing signs of victory through successful attacks and victories achieved by the courage of our troops.”
He paid tribute to the soldiers who had lost their lives, expressing his condolences and sympathy to the families of the heroes.
Dr Al Jaber said the main objective of UAE’s participation in the Saudi-led coalition was to support the legitimate government of Yemen and to achieve security and stability across the region.
Dr Al Jaber said that stability and security are the essential pillars of economic and social development. He said the economic superiority and development achieved by UAE would not continue without the courage and sacrifices of its sons.
