Organisers of the World Congress on Juvenile Justice praised the participation of the UAE after a delegation from the Ministry of Interior presented its experience in the field of child protection and prevention of delinquency.
The Emirates was the only Arab country to take part in the congress recently held in Geneva, Switzerland. The achievements of the MoI in the field of child protection were considered admirable and praiseworthy by the audience at the congress.
Participants issued a list of recommendations that focus on strengthening the implementation of principles adopted in the field of juvenile justice and enhancing international cooperation, particularly when it comes to the rights of children, victims and witnesses.
