Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, met Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday to discuss regional developments.
During the meeting, the two UAE leaders discussed a number of national and regional issues of a political, economic and social nature, WAM the UAE state news agency reported.
It said the leaders stressed the importance of maintaining peace in the region, which reflects positively on the national interests of UAE society.
The meeting was attended by Lt Gen Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, National Security Adviser, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, and Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority.
Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince's Court of Abu Dhabi, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and a number of officials also attended the meeting.
