ABU DHABI // The UAE has strongly condemned a terrorist bombing targeting the Algerian embassy in the Libyan capital of Tripoli on Saturday.
“This cowardly terrorist act is contradicting the rules of international law guaranteeing due protection of diplomatic missions and aims to disrupt the efforts of the legitimate government in Libya to strengthen security and stability in the country,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement released through state news agency Wam on Sunday.
The statement stressed the need for solidarity of all international and regional efforts and joint and hard action to counter terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
