ABU DHABI // Thousands of Emiratis are set to receive homes and land in the emirate as directed by the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Abu Dhabi Municipality will use a new online system for the distribution process following a decree to provide homes and residential plots to Emiratis in Al Wathba North.
The municipality has a record of beneficiaries along with their first and second-degree relatives who were previously eligible to receive land in Al Wathba North, so they can establish a family compound.
Interested beneficiaries are being asked to submit their applications to the nearest municipal customer service centre within one week, starting on Monday.
The municipality will finalise the distribution process by the end of this month. Beneficiaries will notified by text message about the details about the grant and other requirements.
“Our prudent leaders remain committed to continue the legacy of such generous grants in order to make all Emirati people happy and provide them with superior quality of life and stability,” said Musabbah Al Murar, acting general manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality.
