Sheikh Mohammed meets presidents of Paraguay, Montenegro and Costa Rica

DUBAI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed separately Horacio Cartes, president of Paraguay, Filip Vujanovic, president of Montenegro, and Luis Guillermo Solis, president of Costa Rica, at his palace in Zabeel on Tuesday.

Sheikh Mohammed, along with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, discussed with Mr Cartes issues related to bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Paraguay, including the development of economic, investment and tourism opportunities, and encouraging the private sector in both countries to establish joint investments.

Sheikh Mohammed also discussed the development of bilateral relations between the UAE and Montenegro, including the creation of investment partnerships between the two countries, particularly in the private sector.

Sheikh Mohammed and the president of Costa Rica exchanged views on prospects of economic, investment and tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Mr Solis invited Sheikh Mohammed to visit Costa Rica, which he accepted with a promise to fulfil it at the right time.

Sheikh Mohammed also stressed the importance of establishing balanced ties with the three countries, while promoting communication and developing cooperation in the fields of tourism, energy, real estate, transport, among others.

The presidents of Paraguay, Montenegro and Costa Rica lauded the UAE’s leading position in vital sectors like clean energy, infrastructure, tourism and urban development, reported Wam, the state news agency.
