The students volunteered in Azerbaijan, Malaysia and Zanzibar during their summer holidays, as part of the fourth round of the Ministry of Education programme.

The 80 volunteers spent two weeks abroad, helping out with several humanitarian and charitable activities, including the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of schools and drinking water facilities. The team also organised a scouting programme.

Launched in 2017, the programme aims to engage Emirati students’ in volunteering to foster a sense of charity and giving among them.
