The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the King of Jordan to Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, was pictured on the tarmac with King Abdullah II.

An Emirati honour guard stood to attention as the two leaders walked from King Abdullah's plane.

The two leaders discussed regional security, stability and challenges in the region, state news agency Wam reported.

The king and Jordanian military commanders joined Sheikh Mohamed for a joint drill in Al Dhafra last month. He also visited the capital in May.

UAE
