Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed receives condolences on death of Sheikh Sultan

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, offered his condolences to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the death of his brother, Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed, on Thursday.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also presented his condolences to Sheikh Sultan's sons, Sheikh Dr Hazza bin Sultan and Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Sultan, at a mourning majlis in Al Mushrif Palace, Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, also visited the mourning majlis.

On Thursday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also accepted condolences from Ramzan Kadyrov, President of Chechnya, foreign delegations, diplomats, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi Police, and other senior officials.

Representatives from Oman also offered their condolences to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed, President's Representative, died while receiving medical treatment abroad on Monday. He was buried in Al Bateen Cemetery on Wednesday.
