Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met with the President of Togo as the UAE delivered a major business boost to the African nation.

Sheikh Mohamed and Faure Gnassingbé, who has led Togo since 2005, were on hand as a deal was sealed for the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise to invest Dh55 million in small and medium business enterprises in the country.

A signing ceremony was carried out between the Khalifa Fund, a UAE development agency set up to support , and Togo's Ministry of Finance at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed was joined at the palatial gathering by Hussain Al Nowais, chairman of the Khalifa Fund, Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Co-operation, and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
