UAE President Sheikh Khalifa received Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed at Al Bateen Palace on Monday and accepted his condolences on the death of his mother, Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was accompanied by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Al Ain Region, who also extended his sympathies to the UAE President.
Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa, Adviser to the UAE President and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa , Executive Council Member, were present with other members of Al Nahyan family.
Earlier on Monday, Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Tahnoon received condolences from a number of Sheikhs and senior officials in Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Among the visitors were Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid, Ruler of Ajman; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed, Ruler of Fujairah and Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed, Ruler of Fujairah.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai; Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, Crown Prince of Fujairah; Sheikh Rashid bin Saud, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain also visited the palace to offer their condolences.
Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed, the first wife of UAE Founding Father Sheikh Zayed, died on Sunday and was buried after Dhuhur prayers at Al Mu’tareed Mosque in Al Ain.
