Sheikh Abdullah takes part in UN-backed HeForShe campaign

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, has taken part in a United Nations campaign that seeks gender equality and to empower women around the world.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Foreign Minister, has taken part in a United Nations campaign that seeks gender equality and to empower women around the world.
The HeForShe campaign was also attended by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, as well as Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Also present were a number of senior political figures as well as Hollywood actors such as Emma Watson, Matt Damon, Antonio Banderas and Patrick Stewart, reported government new agency Wam.
The campaign aims to end gender inequality by 2030.
