Enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati national products was the focus of a meeting Sunday held by the Ministerial Council for Services at the Presidential Palace.
The council discussed a proposal regarding the supportive government policies for national industries meant to introduce a new unified brand which reads, “Proudly Made in the UAE’’, as a means of identifying and promoting national products manufactured in the UAE and compatible with systems and regulations for industry specifications and standards.
The policy was prepared as per the assignment of the Cabinet to the Ministry of Economy to set a government policy that enhances national industry.
The new brand aims to unify the identify of Emirati products and distinguish them from all other imported goods.
